Weekday Stay Incentive
up to NT$2,000 per room, paid by the government

Three steps. Register on the Tourism Administration site with a photo of your Taiwan ID or NHI card; book a weekday night with us; show that same card at check-in so we can confirm it is you, and we apply the discount on the spot. No registration means no discount, and registering is not a guarantee — the Administration may stop the scheme early once the budget runs out.

For the subsidy a weekday is Sunday through Thursday, excluding national holidays and their long weekends. Note the mismatch: our own rate card counts Friday as a weekday, the subsidy does not. A Friday night gets our weekday rate but no government discount.

Hengchun is a general region: up to NT$800 off the first night and up to NT$1,200 off a consecutive second night, NT$2,000 at most. That is one claim per room per night — two people sharing a room still get one between them — and no claim exceeds what that room actually costs that night. 2 nights maximum per person, and they must be consecutive.

Each national ID number may take part once in the weekday stay scheme and once in the birthday voucher scheme.

Not one claim each — one claim per room per night. The official Q&A states that each room-night may use each scheme once, with a worked example: two guests sharing a room, both eligible, still get a single weekday-stay claim for that night. So on a whole-house booking the number of claims follows the rooms you open, not the size of your group. Each claim still needs its holder to have registered, to be staying, and to show the card at check-in, and no claim exceeds what that room actually costs that night. Ask us when you book, and treat the official Q&A as the authority.

Yes — the official rules allow both. Note the windows differ: the weekday incentive ends 30 Nov and the voucher runs to 31 Dec, so December is voucher-only.

Vouchers are drawn by lottery — 1,000 birthday winners a month — and are worth up to NT$1,200 against a stay. They run 10 Sep to 31 Dec 2026 and apply to the winner in person on a weekday stay. The voucher carries the same unit as the incentive — one claim per room per night — except what comes off is a voucher, and not necessarily for the same person.

Mid-Autumn (25–28 Sep), National Day (9–11 Oct) and Retrocession Day (24–26 Oct) are excluded. Constitution Day (25–27 Dec) is excluded too, but the weekday stay scheme already ends on 30 Nov, so that one only affects the birthday voucher.

The weekday stay scheme runs to 30 November 2026. The Tourism Administration may announce an early close once the budget is spent, so earlier is safer.
